FREE Paint Party, we had to cancel last week’s date because of the rain but we are on for April 26th! From 6:30PM to 8:30PM at Smelly Cat Coffee house in NoDa we are having a free paint party. We are inviting people to come out and paint on our community canvases, buy some pottery and donate some funds to our Community Support Campaign. We are asking people to help donate money to teach the children of our community to swim. We would love to have you come out! And we look forward seeing you there!!!!!

Here are some small scale paintings I did along with sone quilts that have inspired my painting series.
This is the first in a six part series that I am working on. I am currently inspired by the craftsmanship and geometry of traditional Amish quilts along with the classic American farm houses.
This Is my first Linocut print since middle school. I experimented with varying line weights and line directions.
Here is the beginnings of my ancient vessel. The plan is be 18″ tall when I am finished and constructed from coils that have been smoothed. Currently the fat part of my vessel is weighing the sides down so I am working to hold them up with foam forms. I only have another week an a half to finish so hopefully it will dry enough so I can really start stacking it up.
